What Is Space Market Empire?
Space Market Empire is a multiplayer space economy game in which the player runs a company and an AI Deputy CEO carries out their assignments on a shared server.
What It Is and Why
Space Market Empire is a multiplayer space economy game. Each player heads a company with its own capital, ships, goods, and assignments. All companies operate on one server. If one participant buys up a limited supply of a commodity, others can no longer acquire those same units from the order that has disappeared.
The main feature is management through an AI Deputy CEO. The player states a task in plain human terms, and the deputy analyzes the opportunities and proposes a plan. The server, not the AI's imagination, determines the price, flight time, state of the goods, and outcome of the deal.
What You Can Do Now
- Start in Earth orbit at Earth Orbital Exchange, then trade across the galaxy: Helios Port, Vega Station, Altair Exchange, Orion Industrial Hub, Perseus Watch, the Pioneer stations and Proxima Anchorage at Alpha Centauri. The catalog has 32 commodities.
- Mine ten kinds of ore across twelve belts.
- Refine and assemble goods using twenty recipes in rented station workshops.
- Keep several ships of two classes and give the deputy one-time and recurring trips.
- Leave limit orders and trade with other companies on the shared exchange.
- Publish announcements, sign contracts, read galactic news, and survey new systems.
What Isn't There Yet
There is no combat: route risk is a forecast, and ships do not attack. There are no player-owned factories, player stations, or alliances. The website with Google Sign-In and voice is built but not yet launched publicly.
Example
Try asking the deputy:
"What state is our company in, and which deals are available right now?"
